Sal`s Italian Restaurant in Irving

A friend told me about this spot so i tried it out. It was great- I had the special which was a chicken parmasian sandwich- came with a salad, chips and it was great. Sat at the bar and the service was great too. Good spot! Will be back.

This was honestly the worst attempt at FOOD I have ever had, the service and staff was very nice and prompt. It was so bad that I honestly think the chef must have quit and new staff were doing what they could. Not just my meal was bad but all three meals were un-edible. I honestly felt bad for the staff,so I tipped our server.

Great portions, but the food didn't stand out at all. Sbarro has better tasting food.

The service is GREAT! The owner was out talking with everyone which is something I completely respect. The food is good, haven't had anything but the pizza but I enjoyed it. The only draw back I have is the price. Everything seems to be a few dollars overpriced. I will go back but for 8.99 lunch specials it won't be as often as I would like.

Friendly waitstaff. Make you feel like family. Their Meatball sandwich is on point!

Bad food, slow service, and overpriced. There are so many other better options in the area that there's really no reason to come here.

This was the worst dinning experience I've ever had. Service was poor. Food was bland and unappetizing. Save your money. This place doesn't believe in salt or pepper or any other spices.

I went for lunch and ordered the Chicken Fettuccine -- Delicious!!

I only give it 4 stars because you can't be perfect! But the food and the drinks were soooo good!!!! The drinks were strong and the service is was good too

WOW. I was blown away by the level of service from the bar tender (didnt catch his name) and the very reasonable bill. The lunch menu had a wide range of dishes from six to eight dollars.I had a lasagna as big as a license plate, a salad with this tomatoey house Italian which was better than olive gardens!! And this huge half loaf of hot seasoned bread. Very soft and fluffy..might of had cheese on it. And like 6 glasses of very delicious sweet tea. Total bill $8.28Tip_ $6.00 you have to with this kinda service!You gotta try this place!

I sat at the bar and got prompt service with delicious food. Can't complain.

Just not good at all service was terrible took forever to get my food if you ever take a 30 min lunch never go to sal's

Asked the waiter how long the pizza took. "20 minutes", he said. So I ordered the eggplant parmesian, waited for 45 minutes, and left.Got several assurances over the time that the order was "almost ready". No problem, but eventually, I just didn't have time to eat it any more.Might go back eventually if they work out the obvious staffing problems.

We had great service. Great food. Great prices
